The decision to go with just Sargent and Barnes, especially at a time when Barnes was injured is a very poor one and needs to be questioned.

In CM we have Mclean, Nunez, Slimane, Marcondes, Sorensen, Gibbs and maybe Schwartau so its not as if we don't have as many options there as last season.

The one area that we obviously did not address is CDM for about the 5th year in a row. To be fair, when both Kenny and Nunez are fit you can argue that we don't need one as between them they are able to cover the area. Without them though we are back to runners being able to run directly at our defence and get shots in as soon as we give away possessionw which happened for both goals on Saturday.

I'm a bit disappointed with Sorensen as he "should" be able to do that job. I thought he was decent at Cardiff but since then he's looked completely unfit. Perhaps we had to rush him back too soon.
