quite costly old caper im afraid dubbs

luckily we had pet insurance for our cat when got her leg caught in what the vet thought may have been an illegal fox trap. her back leg was shattered and the flesh had been gloved off down to the ankle pretty much. she was awol for about three days and then we found her licking her bloodied leg under the bathtub. amazingly the vets at chapelfield were able to repair it but it took a series of very expensive ops running into thousands of pounds but thankfully we just paid a few hundred quid excess. she recovered very well but her leg was on the huh a bit.
