What I have inferred from the whole situation, is that everyone hates everyone, everyone blames everyone else and sees themselves as blameless, everyone thinks their actions are reasonable and the actions of the other side are entirely unjustified, and everyone thinks the other side started it. As a result, everyone is doing abhorrent things to everyone, and thinks they’re right and the others are wrong.

Where this leaves us is basically where we have been my entire life. There is no chance of peace, as all parties prefer to continue pursuing vengeance instead. And nothing will change until that changes. And there is zero to suggest change is in the air.
