If you could access the Tehran Times, no doubt after either the April wave of missiles fired at Israel or the more recent wave, you could have found Iranian politicians saying "this attack was fully justified by [insert grievance] and so Israel should not retaliate"

It's exactly the same view on each side. "What WE do is fully justified by THEIR atrocities, but what THEY do is just another unjustified atrocity". I'm genuinely surprised that you can't see this.

It's absurd for the Israelis and their backers to say "Don't retaliate because this is justified". It's equally absurd for the Iranians and their proxies to attack Israel and say "Don't retaliate because this is justified".
