Celtic have only ever spent 8m+ on one player in their entire history, which was Odsonne Edouard.

If they paid anything above 6.5m Idah would become their second most expensive signing ever. One can imagine that they see that sort of money as considerably bigger than we do.

Even little old Norwich have gone above that for Naismith, Wolfswinkel, Tzolis, Sargent, Klose and maybe Sara (with sell on), Brady, Pritchard, Gibson and, incredibly, Wildschut.
