right. It used to be that you could type about:config into
the browser address bar and access all the settings but Chrome stopped this not long ago.
about:config enabled you to go into the registry and manually change things like search preference and homepage.
If your keeps reverting even after you've changed it then it is almost certainly a virus/malware.
Run a full scan on you virus scanning software;
Run malware bytes free;
Run advanced windows care (I've assumed you are on a PC!).
If it is a Mac then I'm as much use as a marzipan bicycle seat.
