could be a minor browser hijack where you are redirected to
an unwanted homepage or search page. So first run some anti virus scan and then install malwarebytes free and run that scan.
Install Advanced System Care (free) from iOBit and run that weekly.
There is a way to set the search page and the home page direct from the browser address bar by accessing the registery data. Bear with me while I try to remember how.
