But on the other hand there's no way these people close to the PM should be allowed to keep their jobs if this is what they do with confidential information.
I don't think they should go to prison but shouldn't be in a position of trust for a long time.
And public anger is entirely justified. Labour had a good line 'their first thought was for themselves and how to fill their own pockets'.
