The core reason for high energy prices is our dependence on gas for heating and electricity. Without the contribution of wind we would have been even more f**ked. Renewable generation was 47% in 2023.

Industrial Demand Response has been a way of managing peak demand for many years. The expansion into domestic consumers is just part of the transition towards a more flexible system.

And nobody MADE you sit in the dark.
