I was mowing the other day and saw a lady pheasant in long grass only a few feet in front.

I stopped and retreated. She then got up and wondered off with six chicks.

I got so close with the mower and yet she wasn't budging.

I thought it was beautiful, although a friend then said that they are just stupid really.
