No idea how this still isn’t understood after so many years

I accept people don’t like the rule because some of the goals clearly wouldn’t have been saved but then they’d have to amend it and let the ref judge the keeper’s ability on lots of them.

How about if a player wants to stand in front of the keeper, they get themselves onside?
