Not an unreasonable point, but a totally emotional one

I know what it’s like to have ignorant people discuss my job, for example, and I do feel the irrational and emotional impulse to dismiss their opinions as they don’t know the demands and stresses of the job. But I also know that there are plenty of people doing my job with much less experience than I have, but doing it better (and also worse).
