I agree with that. The good news...
...is that you *can* coach that stuff into players. The stuff you can't really coach - it's either there or it isn't - looks like it's there. He showed some really promising glimpses before getting dropped for Hwang (which I still don't get - if Hwang was notably better then fine, he isn't, in my view not as good even - so why not start our own guy over someone else's?).
I'm also much more of a PP fan than most. Starting him at LB didn't go well, but from watching deansmith work with him when he came on under him he may need more/different direction to most players and if our management team can get that right I'm convinced there's a player there. Certainly he looked streets above Onel when he came on at our last home game in terms of directness and getting good balls in but I think he might struggle to go from that role to the very different role he was expected to play vs Cardiff so quickly.
