We should have been good enough to win given all the good positions we got into.

However, we weren’t because our players just aren’t quite good enough. Crucial passes that would create a glorious chance over hit or misplaced, loose touches at critical moments, not making the goalie work when we did create things.

I’m sure we could improve going forward with barnes, Sargent and sainz, but as you rightly say, defence and midfield seems sub par.
