It did certainly look that way

but it's a bit strange. I can't think of another team that won the Championship with such style and poise, who then struggled so much in the Prem.

I wonder why the gap was so much bigger for us than other sides in recent years who were worse than us in the Champ. Including sides who spent little more than we did.
