I was the first person in my family to ever go to University....

Now all the kids are going..... someone has to break the cycle.
IMHO its not "just" about re-training, its about doing.
If you want something bad enough you will do it.
My mother was very poor at basic reading and writing.
She re-learned in her 70s and 80s and now operates a computer with no problems.
She used many of the learning/education opportunities that are out there. Even met the Queen once.
