It comes to the only good point that Stu Webber made I thought.

An inversion of it rather.

Webber said performance over results are a better measure and you can't give a manager X games. What if we hit the bar 5 times vs Leeds but lost 1-0, is it right to sack him then?

So the inversion is equally, what if we beat Brentford 1-0 from an own goal back pass create nothing else and are absolutely battered?

I'm resigned to keeping Farke now. I think it's silly but I can't see a way out and I think Webber will announced a couple more years in the international break as threatened.

Getting rid of Farke after Brentford gives the next manager 27 games to get about 35 points. That will be true whether we get 0,1 or 3 points at Brentford. Maybe the relative parity among other lower clubs means its a lower total than usual? Can't count on it. So the next manager would either keep us up (Great) or have the stain of relegation with a demoralised squad that they had no say in building, little flexibility to adapt and without the experience of having got us up (not so great).

So we need to just commit to giving Farke the saddest victory lap in sport history... Clapping him for last years success while getting easily beaten and then just clean house next year.

Probbaly have to get lucky like Farke did first time or it's years in the doldrums.
