Tbf it doesn’t really matter if an owner has links to a sponsor company if it’s valued as an arms length commercial transaction.

The wider play might be showing what a sham the ‘legally binding’ ownership assurances are.

I am sure it will be total coincidence if Newcastle suddenly start attracting significant amounts of sponsor cash from rich Saudi companies (that aren’t at all under the control of the state).
