I think we (the fans) should be a bit less sentimental about the players too

The model is we sign very talented young players on the basis we'll give them a chance to shine and a chance to get a big move.

That's fine with me. If you look at what the club got out of having Emi here, we've done very well out of that and neither party owes the other anything really.

Sorry to see him go, of course, but I'm equally as excited to see the next cycle of players arriving to have their shot.
