Think 'amazing' is a bit over the top in this case?

Which of our wins was even remotely 'amazing'? The highest profile team we beat was Germany, and this is a poor German team that lost 6-0 to Spain last Autumn and at home to N Macedonia in a WC qualifier in March.
As pretty much always in these big competitions the moment we play an actual good team we don't win - it's just that like in the last WC the draw favoured us so we were able to get a long way without having to beat a good team. I said it yesterday and I'll say it again - we are in the other half of the draw we don't get past the quarters (tbh even in this half if Spain hadn't come second in their group and we'd had to play them in Rome in the QF as seeded)
