expires when the parachute payments were set to end if we had not got promoted again following one season in the Prem. If we get promoted this year (as we bl**dy well should) we will then be guaranteed parachute payments until at least summer 2024, so maybe we will have the financial scope to make it attractive for him to stay longer?
