Can I ask a quick question

Do you wait for the NHS / your GP surgery to contact you about being vaccinated or do you need to be proactive about getting a vaccine?

I had though that my GP would contact me. I am now seeing friends who are healthy and younger than me getting vaccinated. Should I get in touch with my GP receptionist or just chill and wait for a letter inviting me to get vaccinated?
