Parachute payment argument is so tiresome

Every team relegated would walk the championship if they made that much difference. We have parachute payments because we won promotion to the premier League - it's part of the reward of success.

I'd suspect most funds we have for signing a few players this year comes from selling players developed through our youth system. It's just an easy argument by people who don't know any facts
