I'd be asking the same questions about overreliance on an uncalibrated, unvalidated computer model with no published error bounds whoever was doing it. I'd be asking why we're not following the example of countries who have successfully made their infection and mortality rates drop rather than carving our own unique British path because we must be right and clever and everyone else must be wrong and stupid whoever was doing it. No I didn't vote Tory but that's completely irrelevant. I don't want, for example, my Mum to die of this. That's what's relevant to me.
