Plumbing help required
I am trying to remove a radiator so the plasterer can plaster behind it.
Now, I've removed radiators before and it's pretty straightforward. Turn the TRV to 0 and close off the other end too. Unscrew, drain and remove. Simple!
However, turning the TRV to 0 doesn't seem to be working in this case, even though I'm 99% sure the little pin underneath it is fully depressed. Water just keeps on glugging through to the other end I was draining, far more than a radiator would hold, and trying to take off the TRV end just results in a big old spurt of water.
Any ideas? Would turning the water off at the stop cock do the trick? Not that I have a stop cock tool thing, which I should have anyway I guess.
