(Not to be confused with The Wild Atlantic Way which is basically tourist marketing for the whole of the west coast - might be worth a look at their app though)

We're staying in Westport in Mayo. 1st time i'll have stayed there, but visited many times - it is a great draw for tourists, Matt Molloy's pub for the craic.

Normally we stay in Mullranny (sometimes spelt Mallaranny). The views across Clew Bay of Croagh Patrick are stunning. Sadly the night life isn't what it was, but worth stopping for food at Nevins and McCloughlin's (formerly Daley's) or the Mullranny hotel for that view.

I don't know Connemara so well, but the last couple of times we have driven round parts of it, mostly just following the N59 and then detouring off round parts near the 12 Bens User Posted Link
