I am truly amazed though. Ties and school shirts are one thing,

if you really have to wear them, but shirts have had buttoned cuffs for decades.
Soz though Tricks, it is a particular beef of mine. I spent a good deal of time at work in the 60's fighting against the old fashioned norm of "must wear a white shirt, tie and jacket" to work. Won in the end and always wore what I wanted, as long as it wasn't too scruffy. Always believed it's what you do, not what you look like that counts
