We have had the best season that I can remember and I’m now officially middle aged plus. Going up (going down) is a fuggin amazeballs achievement. What we don’t appreciate yet, is that the media will be talking about this for ages. As will we, natch. The title would be a thing of splendour and I don’t not want it. But my hopes and dreams will not be dashed, my heart will not be broken, I won’t bed wet or sigh with anticlimactic despondence if we Finnish 2nd.
I can’t wait to see who we’re gonna bring in in the summer for a book of Argos vouchers and some Wherry ale. And I don’t say that with any cynicism.
