I find it refreshing that a party would do that

given the alternative is to prioritise being in Government at all costs and to lie to get there. "I have my principles, but if you won't vote for those, I'm happy to change them"

The failure isn't the Labour leadership's stance, it's that our FPTP system isn't built for (any) parties having radical policies. It's designed to maintain a broadly centrist/economically right wing status quo.

I'm no fan of Corbyn but when you take the time to listen to the guy, he has some compelling views. And quite frankly the status quo isn't really working out for anyone right now so maybe a bit of a shake up at the top is what we need? His policies are generally speaking no worse than what is considered mainstream in many places on the Continent.
