Well it's not much different to how it was creeping before Trump is it? Trump has just

brought the world to the brink of a crisis he knew full well North Korea didn't want, and then brought it back to the path it was already on and claimed it as as success.

He is now about to do precisely the same with Iran.

He was first going to start with Russia but the election controversy meant he's had to pull away from them for a while. Korea first, then Iran, all the time gently antagonising Russia, and then will step in and be the hero to bring US-Russia relations back to where they were under Obama.

It works very similar in corporate business - your best chance of being noticed is not to consistently do good work, but to f**k right up and then solve the crisis you created in the first place.
