lucky socks, pre-match beer in a particular pub, etc but if that was all there was too it why include going to the game. just stay in the pub? I don't know maybe people do just go for the sake of it, they can't think of anything else to do in the entire world to fill the void other than to toddle down to a football ground and toddle back home again and then go back to work and rinse and repeat ad infinitum and then eventually, the sweet release of death. what's it all about eh?
