All good points.

Fact remains that the lack of wealth at the top means consolidation in the Championship is now realistically the goal rather than being a fixture in the Premier. It's a slow rot and not really anyone's fault that they are not mega rich.
It will be their fault if they don't take the long term view and seek appropriate deeper pockets.
