Supporters of an ideology that embraces suicide bombers aren't likely to be put off by the death penalty.
We have a huge edge in this ideological war because our ideology is simply better than theirs. As long as we keep it that way rather than stoop to their level (which is exactly what they are trying to achieve) we cannot lose.
