PM CB41 - go to Mullranny - stay at the Moynish B&B or the Mulranny Bay Hotel
do a walk (though a cycle is better) along the greenway - one way takes you down and on to Achill (Atlantic Drive in a car is a must - and you can do a walk up Europes's highest sea cliffs at the end), the other takes you up to Newport and beyond
once you've done that check out Ballycroy National park, spend a day on the pub at the bottom pf the hill, marvel in the locals and join them in shedding a tear at Clearys no longer being open (now that was an experience!)
Loads to do in Mayo, and not over run with tourists - unlike Kerry and the like
