Fans certainly don't help sometimes...

I've seen ten yard square passes booed in favour of a "get it up the f**king pitch". The players seem scared of passing it as a result of the loud groans that occur when one goes astray. It seems a lot of fans would rather see the long ball rather than retaining possesion, trying to build an attack.
