Thanks :-)

Lots of people were complaining about the water running out. I was really struggling at 14 miles and close to walking but thankfully we turned into a residential bit then where we had shade and lovely people with hosepipes! The later water stops were better and as we were carrying our own bottles with an electrolyte drink in we were just about ok! Sadly saw some people who were not though.

Biggest part of the achievement for me was that I picked up a muscle strain doing a 20 mile run 5 weeks ago and missed the last month of training. I was so close to pulling out because I was convinced it would go again or I had lost too much fitness, but somehow I ran it all without stopping! Amazing feeling getting to the finish with hubby having done it!
