Cheers, BungysPie

Well done yourself in the heat without the rehydration, if you didn't see my late reply last night.

Yeah my glowing red baldy bonce has been complaining a bit.
Haven't tried to walk too much yet this morning (and don't intend to; a day's session on the lappy beckons) but other than stiffness they're not as bad as feared; my right quad had been tight in the lead-up to race day so I was expecting hell from that. Left foot has blown up remarkably now so that's got an ice block under it and I await the new bruising pattern. I've already dropped out of midweek footy training (Sat was our last game anyway) and have warned my Vets manager ahead of our final fixture.

What I'm not looking forward to is the first post-half run as a couple of years ago after my first half, my local 5k was the most painful run I've ever endured. I'm tempted to return to Catton parkrun (I have to miss it during the footy season) and suffer it there or maybe postpone the inevitable until the day after and do my local 5K street run.
