That Charlie Wyatt brought up this morning. Hindsight is a useless fukkern thing but it does seem to point to the clubs owners being content for the club to stay in the championship and not to grow rather spend all available cash on players (who may or may not be a good investment) and not expand the stadium or improve Colney.

According to Wyatt, Colchester United's training ground is 3 times better than ours and these things make signing for the club less of an attractive proposition unless you pay stupid money and then you tend to get players that aren't "hungry" to play. No names no kloses
