#norfolkfact from my big book of norfolk facts

The great county of Norfolk, also known as Norfolk is the county with the lowest county high point in all of the UK and it is known as Beacon Hill, also know as Roman Camp whose summit stands at a giddy 103 metres above sea level.

There are reports of a watch being kept at this site in 1324, so it's very probable that some kind of Beacon existed around this time. Historians believe there would have been a Beacon here around the time of the Spanish Armada in 1588 and certainly one in 1608 when there are records of repairs.

The City of London could claim to have the lowest county high point at 22m but that hent a f**king proper county it's a large branch of natwest buh so dunt be posting no s**tty wikkerpaedo links suggesting some such ballix

Beacon Hill, Norfolk's very own Ben Nevis.
