NBTTT: Wiggins

Still don't get it... He has a medical condition. This is well known. He sought medical advice. He was prescribed a treatment. He got permission from all the relevant bodies. The process has rigour and integrity. It is not a simple thing to do. If he did not get treatment, he would be unable to compete. Taking the treatment negated the condition. The notion that he took the treatment at a particular time to gain an advantage doesn't wash. Of course he took the treatment when he was exerting himself as that was when it was needed. Also, asthma and allergies (from which he suffers) like hay fever are more problematic in the summer which is when the Grand Tiurs take place. It just seems like a very British, 'let's knock success' routine. I know we have some doctors on here, would be interesting to get their views. If he was unethical, so was his medical team.
