We will be there or thereabouts still but we've been let down by the board again

You reap what you sow and the fact is that our fans have tolerated and indeed often applauded failure and lack of ambition on too many occasions. We should not be surprised at this latest let down. Delia & Co are under no real pressure to deliver promotion and are happy just to maintain our cosy debt free existence. if we don't go up it will be blamed on the fact we can't compete with the clubs owned by big money owners.

We now have a struggling manager who has to deal with two strikers within the dressing room who want out, one of whom he won't play anyway and the other who we'd prefer him not to play but he probably will. The fans attitude towards Naismith is going to get poisonous now if he continues to perform as he has been. Meanwhile we pack several million pounds worth of young talent (who we would all rather see given a chance ahead of Naismith) off to a sh*t league where he will get kicked to pieces without being given a chance to prove himself with us in the championship.

Its a f**king shambles but its easy to lose sight of the fact that we still have a team and squad well capable of competing at the very top end of the table this season. We have not given ourselves the very best chance of promotion possible but we still have a decent chance.
