I can remember at least four cross field passes that Naismith made that found

a city player.

I will never knock a player for trying the adventurous and that some of the time is what Naismith does - he doesn't always go for the obvious ball, which at time can be frustrating but also in time will prove an asset as the players come to understand how he plays.

And f**k me he works his socks off.

Still I guess people need an escape goat and he's some peoples flavour of the month.
