What f**king benefits are there to Britain in helping China get better and

eventually beat us at football.

The Chinese are already mad about football. They don't need ?3m of our money to pay for football coaches.

It may be a lazy argument to say that it could go to the NHS but the point is we should not be spending any of our taxpayers money training Chinese football coaches or indeed the football coaches of any nation. Whether iot goes to the NHS or to some other public services (or indeed to sorting out border controls) that money should be spent on the uk.
