If that makes sense. Made the foul less obvious and looked more like just a mistake. Had he made no effort and allowed himself to be pulled ref much more likely to give it. That's not a criticism, heat of the moment of course he's going to do all he can to get the ball. Just looking at it in 20/20 hindsight.
