The problem is that it's very hard to achieve success in football without money

It's very hard to be in a position of power in relation to the matters you list without having some cash.

I think there is an argument to suggest the club is being run in something of a short termist way at the moment, will current prices put off fans of the future? It's a risk.

There are no easy answers. Perhaps our current management have gone too far down the commercialisation route, but I'm much happier with where the club is now than 6 years ago.

Yep, tickets are too expensive. But that's symptomatic of football, not just ncfc. I agree all clubs should stick together and fix the problem, but the issue of football finances is far bigger than just this and more fundamental action is needed.

I'm not quite sure how a salary cap would work, it would certainly have to apply across the premier league and football league for it to work.

There's a lot to be admired about clubs like hamilton that have unwavering commitment to developing youth and giving their own a chance to flourish before hiring externally. I don't suppose that approach doesn't frustrate the hell out of their fans at points though.

I can't see that the way our club is being run is anything other than trying to do the best for the fans present and future. We won't always get it right, but we're in so much better a position than we have been in decades.
