It's a little bit early to be pressing the panic button people.
I have to admit that I was underwhelmed at the choice of Adams. (I suspect that he was not the club's first choice either) But I have been impressed with his signings(mostly). And it is a big step up from managing a youth team to being a championship manager and he is on a learning curve and I believe he is an intelligent guy who will learn quickly. My only qualms really revolve around his insistence at playing RM at centre half when he is clearly a right back. I also feel that he could change things a bit earlier when it appears obvious that formation/player is wrong for the occasion. On the whole though I think he is doing ok. This is a tough division to get out of. I truly believe that if we can add a penetrating central midfield player in January then the depth of the squad can take us at least to the play offs.
