The entertainment in football though (and any sport)...

comes primarily from the excitement generated by the uncertainty of the outcome (otherwide no-one at all would watch, for example, athletics or darts or swimming)

As a neutral I'd far rather watch a tense 0-0 draw than, say, Barcelona tonking some overmatched opponent 6-0. I don't care how much attacking flair their football might have, if I know who is going to win I lose interest.
