Please keep pushing, by the way

I think this is the single thing I dislike about modern football the most - the fact it's hard to stand sometimes.

There are two arguments against standing - the bogus one (safety), and the real one (some people prefer to sit and don't want their view impaired).

The former is predicated on Hillsborough being caused by terracing. Which it very, very clearly wasn't.

The latter is easily solved by making some - even most - areas seated but some, for example lower Barclay, Snakepit and top half of the away fans bit in the Jarrold, standing. That way everyone's happy.

Except Mikey, because Hoots is still our manager, but hey you can't please all of the people all of the time.

I do appreciate that my views have less impact because in the last six or seven years I've not been able to go much for a variety of personal reasons - used to go home and away but now make a single figure number of games each season.
