This is bang on, isn't it?

The reason the Hughton out brigade are feeling disloyal is the corporate football served up. The manager did the job last season to cling onto the vast money in the league - he was the perfect business manager. We coped because it was an insane monetary opportunity - but it was tedious.

But to move on and continue; he is failing.

There has been no improvement and the players are not creating any new ideas because they are tethered to playing in his image - that is; it?s cautious and tactically safe (yet, not competently safe).

Money stashed under the mattress; the players are sitting on it and not shifting - hoping those nasty teams around them don?t suddenly pull all the cash from under their arses - and this was only kept safe two games from the end last season, where ever the table says we finished.

This season is just the same - everyone sits on the cash and prays we don?t lose it - it is not safe, with an intelligent defence guaranteed to keep it safe? or conversely, it?s not a bung it all on black and have fun while we see were the feck we end up?(who in their right mind would want to do a QPR? - but their fans might have at least had a little bit of fun).

But watching Norwich for the past two seasons has made me think in these terms - not football, but business.

I don?t want to cheer about being out of debt. I want to cheer expressive football - sport - entertainment - whatever you want to call it. Just not business.
