the principles of management and team building are EXACTLY the same.
The main difference is that in 1985 there wasn't the internet to give a constant voice to the entitlement culture whingers who demand immediate action and a scapegoat for every short term setback just to appease their inner anger.
People like you would have been clamouring to force Ken Brown out in 1985 (after all, he'd been relegated with us before!). The fact that you have the power to do so now in a public forum shouldn't stop the people running the club doing the right thing (as they did then)
